These terms are an agreement between you and Arkahive Software Company Limited (“Arkahive”, “we”, “us”). They apply to arkahive.com, the games and apps published by Arkahive and its studios, including Arkabra Studio, and the Arkahive ID (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age where you live, to use our online features. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms for you.
2. Your Arkahive ID
- When you play online, we create a guest Arkahive ID for you. A guest account lives on your device, so if you lose the device or uninstall the game without linking a sign-in provider, the account cannot be recovered.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. Tell us at support@arkahive.com if you think someone else is using it.
- Usernames, display names and group names must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading, or impersonate someone else. We may change or remove names that break this rule.
3. Fair play
Competition only means something when it is fair. You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, solvers or modified clients to play for you;
- tamper with, replay or fake ranked attempts or results;
- exploit bugs instead of reporting them to us;
- access the Services by automated means, overload them, or try to get around their security or limits;
- harass other players, or use the Services to break the law.
If you break these rules, we may void your results, remove you from leaderboards, leagues or groups, and suspend or close your account.
4. Our content
The Services, including the games, puzzles, artwork, names and logos, belong to Arkahive and its licensors. We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use the Services under these terms. You may share screenshots and results. You may not copy, sell, or reverse engineer the Services, except where the law allows it.
5. What you create
You keep the rights to names and other content you create in the Services. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display that content as needed to run the Services, for example to show your username on a leaderboard.
6. App stores
If you downloaded a game from an app store such as Google Play or the App Store, that store’s terms also apply. The store is not responsible for the game or its support; we are.
7. Changes and availability
We keep improving the Services, so features may change, rankings and seasons may reset, and a game may be retired. We try to keep the Services available but cannot promise they will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Services are provided free of charge and “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract, or our liability for anything that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Services at any time and ask us to delete your Arkahive ID, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 4, 5, 8 and 10 continue to apply after your use ends.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Arkahive Software Company Limited is registered, and disputes go to the competent courts there. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections the consumer laws of your country give you, including the right to bring a claim there.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we will tell you in our games or by email before it applies. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept it.
