Privacy Policy

Last updated October 20, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Arkahive collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell personal data, and we do not show ads.

Who we are

Arkahive Software Company Limited (“Arkahive”, “we”, “us”) is the company responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at support@arkahive.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers arkahive.com, the games and apps published by Arkahive and its studios, including Arkabra Studio, and the Arkahive ID, the single account you use across our games. If a game collects anything not described here, it says so in a notice of its own, which adds to this policy.

What we collect

When you visit arkahive.com

The website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type so it can deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

When you play without going online

Many of our games can be played offline. Your progress and settings are then stored only on your device, and we do not receive them.

Your Arkahive ID

When you first play online, we create an Arkahive ID for you automatically. It starts as a guest account identified by a random ID, without your name or email address. For each signed-in device we keep a session record with the IP address and device type it signed in from, which we use to keep your account secure.

You can link your Arkahive ID to a sign-in provider. Depending on the provider, we receive:

  • Google: your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture.
  • Apple: your Apple account ID, and the name and email address you choose to share (which may be a private relay address).
  • Google Play Games: your Play Games player ID and gamer name. Play Games does not share your email address with us.

We never receive your passwords for these services.

Your profile and play

  • Profile: the username, display name and avatar you choose.
  • Ranked play: in competitive modes such as online daily challenges, the challenge you played, when you started and finished, your moves and your result. We use the moves to verify that a result is genuine.
  • Leagues and leaderboards: your points, placement and division.
  • Groups: groups you create or join, their names and invite codes, and who is in them.

When you contact us

If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or payment details, and we do not use advertising identifiers.

How we use it

  • To run our games and your Arkahive ID, and keep your progress across devices.
  • To verify ranked results and keep competition fair.
  • To show leaderboards, leagues and groups.
  • To protect our services from abuse, for example by limiting repeated requests.
  • To answer your messages and provide support.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you (providing the game and your account), our legitimate interests (security and fair play), your consent where we ask for it, and our legal obligations.

What other players can see

Your username, display name, avatar and results are shown to other players on leaderboards and in leagues. Members of a group see each other’s names and results in that group. Your email address is never shown to other players.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with:

  • Service providers that host and run our services for us: Cloudflare (hosting and network) and Neon (database, hosted on Amazon Web Services in Singapore). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Sign-in providers (Google, Apple) when you choose to sign in with them. Their own privacy policies apply to what they collect.
  • Authorities when the law requires it.
  • A successor if Arkahive or one of its games is merged or sold, under the same protections described here.

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

International transfers

Our servers are in Singapore and on Cloudflare’s global network, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with our providers.

How long we keep it

  • Account, profile and play data: for as long as your Arkahive ID exists.
  • Security records (session records, and the IP addresses we use to limit repeated requests): until you sign out, and no longer than a year after last use.
  • Emails: for as long as needed to handle your request.

A guest account that is not linked to a sign-in provider lives only on your device. If you uninstall the game or lose the device, it cannot be recovered, and we may delete guest accounts that have been inactive for a long time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent you have given. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

You can delete your Arkahive ID yourself in any of our games, under Account in the game’s settings; see how to delete your account. For any other request, or if you can’t open the game, email support@arkahive.com with your username, from the email address linked to your account if there is one. We may ask you to confirm the account is yours. We complete email requests within 30 days.

Children

Our games are made for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, or under the higher minimum age set by the law where they live. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, signed session tokens, restricted access and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in our games or by email.
